SALT STREET ("SS") website(s) (our "Site" or "Sites") and related services are made available to you pursuant to the following Terms & Conditions of Use & Service and any other rules posted on our Sites (collectively, the "TOS"). By visiting SALT STREET.COM, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in the TOS. If you do not agree to the TOS, please do not visit or use the Site.

We may modify the TOS from time to time, and your continued use of this Site following such change shall signify your agreement to be bound by the modified TOS. Please read the TOS and re-read before each subsequent use of the Site. In the event of change(s) to the TOS that you do not agree with you must immediately stop using the Site.

For those persons wishing to use our services, they must read and agree to be bound by our policies relating to those services. In particular, we draw your attention to our policies relating to the Terms of Purchase and our Privacy Policy. Use of this Website
To use some of the services or features made available to you on this Site you will be required to register. We may change registration requirements from time to time and without notice. When you register, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. We have made every effort to display colours as accurately as possible to the colours of the products that appear on the site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

Legibility to Purchase

The purchase of merchandise through SALT STREET ("SS") is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Site in accordance with English law.

In order to make purchases through the Site, you will be requested to register and provide your personal details. In particular, Customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.

The Site is available only to individuals and others who meet the SS terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to SS, whose applications are acceptable to SS and who have authorised SS to process a charge or charges on their credit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. Purchases made on the site are for the personal or gift use of the buyer only and are not to be used for re-sale, commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. SS reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

Moreover, by making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and, where SS feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your credit-card number or credit reports (including credit reports for your spouse if you reside in a community property jurisdiction), to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

SALT STREET offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution center. Occasionally, however, we may be waiting for shipments from our designer suppliers. Consequently you may from time to time be given the possibility of making an Advance Payment for certain items in which case you are able to make an Advance Purchase. This will ensure that you receive this item in priority once designer stock has been delivered to SALT STREET. SALT STREET will only take Advance Purchase orders for stock that has been scheduled for delivery by a designer/supplier. Your rights regarding Advance Purchase are the same as those for any other purchase at SALT STREET; alternatively you may simply choose to register your email address for notification of arrival of the selected merchandise not held in stock.

Items received into stock may be pre-allocated to satisfy Advance Payment orders and customers making Advance Payments will receive items in priority to customers on the Waiting List or customers ordering through the Site for immediate delivery. Please be aware that we may be unable to deliver selected Advance Payment merchandise due to production problems or quality check issues identified when we receive an order into stock. In these circumstances we will notify you by email and refund the Advance Payment to your credit card within thirty days of being advised that merchandise has become unavailable.

If you have registered your email address for notification of the arrival of a specific product featured on our website, we will attempt to notify you by email within 48 hours of the product becoming available on the site. Please note that on occasion certain products that are in particularly high demand will sell out during this period.

Pricing Policy

Prices shown on the site are in Dirhams (AED) the currency of the United Arab Emirates unless an alternative currency has been selected by the customer.

All prices and offers are subject to change at any time and offers remain valid only for the dates advertised. The AED price of a product displayed on the website at the time the order is confirmation is sent to customer will be honoured.

Customers buying from outside Dubai will also incur carriage costs and any duties levied by the jurisdiction to which you have specified delivery. If you are a customer whose credit card is not denominated in US Dollars or UK Sterling, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.

Sale Price Adjustment Policy

SALT STREET is happy to offer a Sale Price Adjustment on items purchased up to 7 days prior to the commencement date of a sale. Please be aware that the exact style and size of an item must be available for purchase at the time your request is made before any adjustment in the sale price can be approved. All approved Sale Price Adjustments will be credited to your SALT STREET account in the form of a store credit which will be valid for 12 months.

We are unable to offer price adjustment on items originally purchased in a sale or on any special promotion items that are temporarily reduced in price.

Acceptance of your Order

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledgement of the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order.

Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and SS will be perfected when we dispatch the goods to you. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the language of the contract is English.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out above.

Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by SS. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.

If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to SS, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We take all reasonable care to make our Site as secure as we can make it. All credit card transactions on this site are processed using PayPal which is a fully secure, internationally recognized vendor solution which encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

Furthermore, we will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.

Insurance and Delivery

SALT STREET insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. You must supply a descriptive physical delivery address, we cannot deliver to PO box numbers.

We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes, for example as a gift, then you accept that evidence of a signature by them, or at that physical delivery address, is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by SALT STREET and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns

Request a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing customercare@saltstreet.com. We will then arrange for our driver to collect the item (within Dubai). Please prepare your package for the driver and ensure that your RMA number is clearly visible. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed and your refund will then be credited to your credit card, excluding shipping costs.

Please note: items to be returned from outside Dubai are not eligible for free collection. If you would like to return an item from outside of Dubai please email us at customercare@saltstreet.com and we will advise you of our delivery address so that you can arrange the delivery. Customer will be responsible for all return freight and import charges.

Exchanges

Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it and purchase the new item separately.

To exchange an item for another size, simply specify the new size you require when you request your RMA. If the new size is available in stock we will arrange for the returning item to be collected and replaced with the new size. If the new size is not available in stock we will arrange for a refund.

Please note the following important information

  • All items to be returned/exchanged must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued within 7 days of receiving the order. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of SALT STREET and may only be refunded as a store credit.

  • Items must be received by SALT STREET within 14 days of you receiving your RMA number.

  • Items should be returned new, unused, and with all SALT STREET and designer garment tags still attached. We do not sell pre-worn garments, also returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit.

  • Shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface before wear. They should be returned in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without boxes or in damaged boxes may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer.

  • Briefs, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns may not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items are soiled, and may be sent back to the customer.

  • Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return.

  • Please send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible.

  • Free collection does not apply to items returned from a different country to the original shipping destination.

  • We may not accept merchandise which is not received in the above specified conditions. Furthermore, to ensure that your return is adequately protected in transit, we recommend you send your items back to us in the original packaging provided.

Gift returns

If you have received an item as a gift, you may exchange it for a store credit to your SALT STREET account (you will need to register your details).

The amount will be deducted from your next purchase and will be valid for one year. Please be aware that you may need to pay any cost difference, additional shipping, taxes and import duties, where applicable. Corporate gifts may only be returned by the original purchaser and within seven working days of initial receipt.

Please email customercare@saltstreet.com if any of your purchases have been delivered without a SALT STREET tags and/or packaging.

Faulty goods

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within one month of purchase.

Where possible, we will repair faulty items. If it is not possible to repair the item we will exchange the faulty item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability.

If a faulty item can not be repaired or exchanged for the same item a full refund will be issued, including original shipping costs.

Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear or failure to follow the care instructions are not considered to be faulty and will be returned to the customer. This is determined at SALT STREET’s discretion.

Receiving a refund

All correctly returned products will be refunded to the purchaser's credit card, excluding shipping costs.

Outside Dubai, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.

Privacy Policy
It is your responsibility to read and familiarize yourself with the SS Privacy Policy which can be found at the bottom of our Home Page. You must not use this site if you are under the age of 18 without the consent of your parent or guardian who must read and agree to the SS Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

You acknowledge and agree that we have the right to access and disclose your information in order to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, and to protect SS or its users.

You acknowledge and agree that SS may pass your information to other associated companies and selected third parties for analysis and/or to enable them to contact you about products or services which may be of interest to you.

We shall share your personal data with companies and organizations in order to enable us to perform credit checks and you hereby consent to us so doing.

You should not send any information or material that you consider to be confidential or proprietary, to SS or any other person, through this Site. Any information or material sent to SS at, or through this Site, is deemed to be not confidential. You are deemed to grant to SS an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute all materials or information sent by you to or through this Site. SS is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send to SS, for any purpose.

You must comply with all proprietary and copyright notices on this Site. This Website is owned by SS and its associates, and subject to copyright. The information on this Site is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world you must not in any form or by any means:
